6 miles
The run was good, fast, nearly effortless, but the mind was overwhelmed. I needed to take a moment, and the run gave me that (thank God for the running sunglasses, because if I cry, nobody can see it). Nassim Taleb once said that "real strength lies in the control or, as he put it, the domestication of one’s emotions, not in pretending they don’t exist."
Domestication of emotions miserably failed today :(
But on the positive note - 6 miles was a breeze.
