Quick 5.5 miles during lunchtime
It was awesome! :) Think easy, light, smooth, fast and happy 5.5 miles (I've sneaked it in between meetings). This brought a jolt of energy and the spirit is on fire!
Daily practice of running is beginning to pay off - mentally and physically.
It's not only forcing me to "be positive" but continuously learn to be creative how to squeeze this damn run every day :) - between work, life, kids, baths, dinners, code, meetings, laundry, grocery shopping, etc.
It also is beginning to change, going from:
Not: This is not so bad.
But: I can make this good.
The run is not perceived as a drudgery, but beginning to turn into a mental advantage.
As every great philosopher or geneticist will tell you - the only way to truly conquer something is to... love it. I think I am falling for it :)
