2 miles - the "2 special miles" (total: 1352.70 miles)
We still don't have power at home :( I am still staying in the hotel with M&G :)
No Power + COVID + Virtual School from hotel --> someone above has a sense of humor..
But coming back to BoredRunner daily running. The shoes are calling... We asked the hotel - can we use your treadmill? They said: "sure, but it's all booked for the day already", and "by the way, all 3 of you cannot come in anyways due to COVID." So forget that..
So I told my kids today you are going to do something you've never done before: you will set a personal record running! Run 1 mile non-stop and then see what happens.
We went to Bellevue Park, and the circle around the park is 0.5 miles. With huffing and puffing - we did 4 circles :) The 1 mile became 2 miles done! My 7 year old ran 2 miles today! :) :) :) yeeeeeeeh! I am sure she will probably remember for the rest of her life - staying in the hotel during pandemic and a crazy Bored Runner mom dragging her out for a run after school was over. But a fun it was! They really got into it and were encouraging each other to persevere through.
Every single one of us possesses the strength to attempt something she isn't sure she can accomplish... until she does. Sometimes you just do things.
After all the complaining about "being tired", the two were chasing each other at the playground for another hour. So much for being tired..
I really hope we get the power back tomorrow and can go home! Either way, we will still run..
