I need to start routinely running in the mornings, so that the run is finished and isn’t on my mind as another to-do item all day long. Got it out of the way - now I can do all the other things I want to. And regardless of what time you go for a run, you never regret going for a run :)
When each run is structured by a plan, it’s difficult to embrace spontaneity. Running every day becomes more about going for a run than what that run looks like, and gives me an opportunity to ditch the plan and go where and how fast I want. Freedom! :)
