6 miles
Running hard, simple math:
- Run until you can’t run anymore.
- Then run some more.
- Find a new source of energy and will.
- Then run even faster.
Today I blacked out for a few seconds while running, but it's ok - just a transient hallucination, shrugged it off and kept going.
I've experienced that human body possesses an enormous capacity to take care of itself as long as we take care of it by feeding it well and not putting toxins in it. Not only the running, my entire diet has changed in the last 6 months - largely vegetarian, no milk or cheese or eggs - just fruits, nuts, vegetables and bread (and occasional wine or beer - that "knock me out" now instantly :). I've started also looking at the diets of ultra marathon runners and Kenyan runners (ugali with vegetables) to see how I can get more energy out of the food I put in my body, because I sense the body needs more.
