5.5 miles
When you run and you are in the flow zone, it's like you have "wings". It's the best feeling in the world. You are no longer exhorting any effort, you are just enjoying it and flying, smiling :). I cannot express this, it's something you have to experience - it's that rare combination when physical fitness, free spirit and pure happiness come together.
In running every day, it doesn't matter to me how fast or slow I am. I set my own pace and I see and measure my own progress.
Can't lose here.
I am not running against anyone else. I am only running against myself, and as long as I am running I am "winning". And this last part of the previous sentence is so precious. It's not about speed or miles under my belt or bragging rights. It's about refusing to stop or be stopped.
