5.5 miles
By accident, or by virtue of 129 days of running, I've stumbled upon the most advanced weapon in my running arsenal: instead of cringing from fatigue, you embrace it. You refuse to let it go. You get to know it so well, you are not afraid of it anymore. You simply can't hate something and expect to beat it. I wouldn't be able to run 800+ miles for the past 129 days with that attitude. The only true way to truly conquer something as every great philosopher or geneticist will tell you, is to love it. And I am now concluding that after 129 days of doing anything every day, you are bound to "fall in love with it" :)
And another perhaps one of the first and foremost fundamental thing I've learned (and keep re-learning and testing myself every day): that pain (physical or any other pain) is a part of the deal. It's not a question whether you will hurt, or how much you will hurt; it's a question of what you will do while pain has her way to get to you...
Now with Bored Runner, it's no longer a "choice" really, just gotta keep moving.
