10.1 miles
Running isn't a sport for talkers...It's about the sweat in your hair and the blisters on your feet. Its the spit on your chin and the nausea in your gut.
It's about throbbing calves and cramps at night that are strong enough to wake the dead.
It's about getting out the door and running when the rest of the world is contemplating about their next "big move" or about having the passion or the energy that you need to live each and every day with.
It's about being on a lonely road and running "like a champ" :) even when there's not a single soul to cheer you on (sometimes doing it at night, after a crappy day at work too).
Running is all about having the desire for a better life and persevere until every fiber in your legs, mind, and heart is turned to steel.
And when you do it every day, you will become the best runner (and in truth, the best person) you can be. And that's all that I can ask for. I am thankful for today's run and this clarity in my head.
