Day 174 (November 15)

Updated: Nov 16, 2020

4.5 miles

Both of my parents have COVID. Both are old people. Both are thousands of miles away. One is in the hospital. One has COVID for the second time. I cannot be with them. I hope that things turn out ok.

I cry (I am a human after all), but I try not to let it stop me. The best I can do right now is at least not cry in one spot - but cry as I continue to move and continue to run.

Hope lives in the dark. The stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and work and watch. As my mother said: you don't give up, you never give up.
