THE BORED RUNNER

This page was inspired by The Bored Baker (a young lady who uses baking to "cure her boredom" during COVID-19 times and whose recipes are truly amazing! You definitely should try some of them. You can also read/watch the video about her here.)

Seeing daily notifications from her in my mailbox... it was inspiring.

I chose running as my "daily therapy"..

I've figured in the worst case, I would become "really fit" :)

and in the best case, who knows what will happen.

So every day, I run

and log it here after the run is finished.

Simple :)

5 miles Today's 5 miles felt like 30, but I got them done :) It was all about tapping into the "dark side". A dark side is that side you...

Day 59 (July 22)

5 miles The attitude today can be summed up in three words: I own this :) Screw “try.” Trying is an open invitation to failure, just...

Day 58 (July 21)

5.5 miles Do. The. Work. Every day, you have to do something you don’t want to do. Every day. I didn't feel like going running after a...

Day 55 (July 18)

13.09 miles I ran, and then ran, and then ran... in my own cozy, homemade void, in my own silence (sort of). And this was a pretty...

Day 54 (July 17)

5 miles. I got it done. I am tired to write anything meaningful right now, so until later.

Day 53 (July 16)

Day 52 (July 15)

5.5 miles The run was fine. The day sucked. Hopefully tomorrow is better. Don’t feel like writing today. The End.

Day 51 (July 14)

Day 50 (July 13)

It’s 50! I finished the run at 10PM today, 5.5 miles. It's Day 50. There was no time to go for a run earlier today, so a woman got to do...
